For a time, this is a pleasant, fairly old-fashioned Italian food wine, with typical lively Chianti fruit -- mostly cherry and raspberry -- swimming atop a darker pool of savoury, and slightly funky, leather, tobacco, and baking spice. And it works fairly well, until the fruit sinks into the mire and all that's left is that murky darkness, which seems to thin out a great deal, surrounded by a tinge of tartness. Even then, it's fine, even still somewhat refreshing, and the acidity keeps things from getting too mucky, but there isn't much left to keep things interesting otherwise.

Vinegar, extreme sour feel, barely drinkable. I´d say oxidized. Maybe due to heat damage (these italians go through a lot to get to Brasil, and here is a very hot city).
