During PNV week, Sub-AVA tasting at Round Pond. First experience with this vineyard designate, always enjoy Saintsbury. They don't get pulled into the overripe CA Pinot style, true to varietal
Medium ruby color. Nose of bright red fruits, spice and garrigue. Palate is red fruits, cherry cola, cranberry, black tea. Nice medium weight Pinot, should put on some weight in the bottle and drink well for 7-10 years. Might let this rest for about 2 years
