14.5% abv. Recent auction purchase. Wasn't terrible, but the fruit has faded to the point of showing a frame of oak and oak tannin. This just didn't have the depth and concentration to go the long haul, I guess. If you have any of these left, should probably drink them up.

Murky color--looks like prune juice. Some what phenolic nose. Initial taste of cherry on the tongue, but then several disjoint sensations. The cherry flavor subsides, and I get is bitterness and alcohol. "Spritzy" finish, which may be my favorite thing about this wine. I had this wine several years ago, and I see that I did not rave about it then. I'll drink the bottle, but I don't feel bad that I have no more left.

Sliced unripe berries with hints of vanilla and spearmint on the nose; clear cherry-red color. and nicely balanced with medium "strawberry" finish. Has improved considerably since our first bottle in 2009.

bright ruby color, tart strawberry/cranberry nose w/hint of earth apon first inspection. lots of bright juicy fruit up front with nice lavender, tobacco and slate mid palet, to a somewhat lenghthy mineral/stoney finish. seems to have aged nicely in the bottle. initial earthy nose blows off with a bit of air. quite a nice little pinot!

Light bodied medium ruby with pleasant but relatively uncomplicated flavors of raspberry and strawberry. Underwhelming for the price.
