  • À point. Il reste des arômes de cassis et beaucoup d’arômes tertiaires de mousse, champignons. Équilibré. Fin. À boire.

  • A solid bottle of burgundy, elegant, balanced, but lacking any big excitement for me. Seems pretty well resolved, maybe a little better with more age but it seems like it's drinking pretty well right now.

  • A delicate, clear light red with some browning to the edges. Looks older than it is was my first (worried) thought, but the wine is fine. The nose is unexpressive really, certainly versus the last bottle, but the palate is immediately more detailed, with silky sweet cherry, tart cranberry, sous bois, and some brine. There are still some persistent tannins here that give the wine a nice lick at the end. Went very well with the Christmas lunch, a good match. I still have a slight question mark about the correctness of this bottle but with seven of us drinking it was essentially a glass each and no need for undue concern (but that glass certainly wasn't up to the last bottle).

  • I thought this was very good if not fully resolved or expressive, it showed it's class with proper definition and depth. tannins were still fairly prominent although fine boned. i didn't find any green notes, and the fruit was pretty reddish black even if it wasn't super bright. like most 13s right now, at a good stage and was disappointed when the bottle was finished.

  • Light and limpid on the eye. At first I suspected it of being corked, but I later classified this as a vegetal note. Mostly since the fruit is not affected at all in the way a corked wine always loses fruit even when the wet cardboard etc of cork taint is not detectable. In the mouth it's elegant with good persistence all the way. With time in the glass, the wild strawberries make their presence felt. An excellent wine, when all is said and done.
