As usual with mature Dujac, the nose is a thrilling experience displaying tertiary aromas of white pepper, blue fruits, forrest floor and Asian spices, I could smell this for the whole dinner ! The mouth is very elegant but it shows the vintage and the sandy terroir, which is always light hearted, but again the scents and the elegant mouthfeel provided true joy at the table.

Similar to the bottle last year. Pure, focused red cherry and red currant fruit, medium-weight, smooth, although there are round tannins beneath. Can still last, but it's so delicious now, why wait. Cellared since original release.

Great balance, perfumed strawberry nose, fresh on the palate but not a great deal of fruit. Well integrated and harmonious, especially with food. Happy to have paid £40 for this bottle a few years ago, but shocked it would now be £180+. There's much more enjoyment per cost elsewhere in the world!

Louis brought this bottle to serve well with Teppanyaki in his restaurant. I recalled that we shared the same wine a year ago.

Deep and quite dark, with a pleasant suggestion of slight bitterness. Perfect accompaniment to rare beef in olive oil with lemon.
