Nice ripe fruit on the nose, a sense of richness and roundness buffered by acidity, tension, and minerality. However, the fruit has dropped away, leaving a void in the wine. Finishes a bit bitter.

Saturday hangout at Domaine (Chicago, IL): Not as lean and taut as I would have expected from Ceritas; this seems to have filled out nicely, giving a good roundness on the palate. Still plenty of that signature Ceritas lightness and acidity, it's just that this has more fruit than typical. I did like the Pinnacle alongside more; it felt even more balanced and powerful.

I should have drunk this a couple years ago, but I had to move my cellar so things went on hold. This is still very good, although time to drink. Peach, lpineapple, lemon, almond with good acids still. A rounder style but very good to drink.

Liked this didn’t love it, seems to lack the energy I gravitate to that it had in its youth, subtly honeyed , with apples, pears and some spices, good focus on the attack, medium acidity, interesting almost saline like finish

Pale yellow with a clear rim. Lemon and floral aromas dominate the aromatics, but a note of ginger can also be discerned, along with just a trace of brioche. Medium-bodied in the mouth, with excellent acidity and ample citrus fruits. A very enjoyable wine, though perhaps missing some complexity that separates the truly memorable wines from those that are merely excellent. Needs aeration to show its best. 90.
