Still very young, but with the first shoots of development showing through. Lime pith, green apple and talc on the nose and also the palate, with a crisp acid finish. It is only the hints of kero and honey on the mid palate that give away its age.

{screwcap, 11.8%} Low alcohol and bone dry-sound like a festival of unripe grapes- but not so. This has a lovely, intense nose of apples and talc, not a million miles from a Rhein kabinett. The palate is almost raspingky dry, but the acid is perfectly judged to give a medium weight wine with medium length crispy yet rich finish of lime and apples. Open and very easy to drink, may as well do so over the next 5 years.
