Lovely green dark straw colour that flashes in the glass. Lime lemon nose with some softer citrus and honey notes. Powerful palate , more honey and lime with a long palate and a touch of residual sugar but still good acid cut. Lovely wine at its peak. Don’t want to see it go blowsy.

7 Tasmania Wineries Jan-14; 1/9/2014-1/14/2014: {screwcap, 12.5%, A$30} Gloriously pure lime and lychee nose. The palate is dry (9g/l of residual sugar just fills out the palate, adding no sweetness at all), has a powerful fleshiness to it, with lots of acidity and medium-bodied weight. The finish is apple-tinged, crisp, crunchy and long. The best vintage of this wine for some time I think.
