Garnet in colour. Quite an oak driven start to the mixed aromas this one has; vanilla, milk chocolate and sweet spices only to be followed by red berries like strawberry and cherry. Mid-weight, ripe yet racy with an elegant, silky mouth feel and succulent finish.

Pinot Noir Night 3rd Installment (Extra Space): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is medium intensity, with aromas of barnyard ?brett, earth, smoke, ripe strawberries, dark red cherries. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol, medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of earth, ripe strawberry, raspberry, dark red cherries, and a sweet licorice core. Long finish. Surprisingly good quality Pinot Noir from Robert Mondavi. Packs a punch within its price range. Buy more and drink up.
