Luminous, translucent ruby red color. Aromatic, sweet and quite powerful nose with opulent aromas of ripe dark fruits, plum jam, blackcurrant marmalade, some peppery spice and a hint of overripe strawberry. If you've accustomed to drinking Burgundy reds, this doesn't really smell of Pinot Noir. The wine is medium-bodied, round and a bit sweet on the palate with flavors of overripe strawberry, blackberry marmalade, some balancing peppery spice and savory wood, a little bit of strawberry jam and a hint of alcohol. The medium-to-moderate acidity keeps the wine from tasting fat and flabby, but the wine lacks some focus and freshness nevertheless. The finish is quite long, spicy and warm with flavors of black pepper, blackberry jam, sour cherries and ripe dark cherries, some savory wood and a little bit of boozy alcohol.
Meh. A soft, sweet and rather mediocre Pinot Noir with lots of weight and ripe fruit, too little elegance and Pinosity. Served blind, I'd have difficulties recognizing the Pinot Noir characteristics here. A simple and easydrinking wine for people who don't enjoy humongous blockbusters, but still a wine too big and heavy for people who enjoy classic, sophisticated and savory Pinot Noir. Not just my cup of tea and rather poor value at 17,99€.

Purple core and pink rim. Translucence was dark. Creamy vanilla and juicy black cherries dominate the nose. A complete, but limited and uninspired flavor profile: ripe cherries, then cream soda, then oak. Thin body. Medium length. Great acidity.

Very little on the nose. Fruity, unexciting. Med-low acid, no tannin. Eh.
