Excellent- With only an hour decant this was probably not showing itself fully. Also, I'm not sure if these go through a closed phase, but that's a possibility. It was showing a bit tight and the profile was upright with savory to slightly sour and even saline along with just-ripe black fruits. I might say it's a bit austere, but still there is sufficient fruit and a drive to it, that is it's not pushing you away.
Went really well with a daube, such a nice pairing with the stew's inclusion of olives and a bit of orange zest.

Drunk over two days. Day two, the tannins had really softened. Lovely blackcurrant and blackberry fruits with soft tannins and hints of pepper. This is a lovely wine.

Popped and poured. Nice dark red, with fast but red legs. Nose is smoky, meaty and gamey, the way I like it. Savory wine in the mouth, taut but with good fruit, though a tad clipped on the finish, as others have noted. 5-13-16-8: 92/100.
Next day, with a full day of air, some interesting dill notes have emerged in the mouth. Doesn't really detract, and it doesn't change my score, just worth noting as it adds just a bit more complexity.

Decanted for 1 hour. While this won't knock your socks off and is somewhat understated, it is still a very well made and balanced Hermitage from Delas. More elegant in style that I was expecting.
