P: Med body; ALMOST swtish frt (threshold R.S.?) met by some astringent pucker which MOSTLY irons itself out by the LONG (albeit faintish) finish. Decent, though I *don't* see it @ the $26.99 tasted price. 16/20 Jancis Robinson (10/28/14), + 2 addt’l scores on wine-searcher's Tasting Notes pg. [As of early May '20, wine-searcher still shows 1 source @ $23.50].

This wine needs at least 5-7 years before it's drinking window opens. Medium-high alcohol, medium-full body with a garnet ruby color. A lovely nose of garrigue, red fruit and rosemary. Red fruit, black olive and new French oak on the palette. The oakstill needs more time to integrate. This is an ageworthy vaqueras.

Menthol on the nose, dark purple with nice legs. Smooth, delicious on the front with nice acid and dark fruit. A little tannic on the back. It probably could benefit from another year in the bottle. It went very nicely with rack of lamb and grilled vegetables.

No doubt drank this too soon, although decanting helped. A somewhat oaky mouthful of red fruit and Provence herbs.

P/P@Belotti; Good berry and garrigue; not fully integrated oak and low acidity were magnified as this had the misfortune to follow a good barolo
