Notes after wine opened for 1.5 hours. Dark red color with clear meniscus. On nose, rasbperry, garrigue, sweet cherry, plum. On palate, medium+ body, medium+ acidity, low tannins and long finish (bright acidity noticeable on finish - mouth watering). Palate consistent with nose. At peak. 91-92 range. Very nice.

It smells like a grenache, but tastes syrah-dominate; that from a grenache-dominate (80%) blend. It’s a little leaner and more acidic than I’d anticipate with that much grenache. Tannins are still evident and, again, not what I’d expect from grenache. I do like it, just surprised by the composition of the blend.

Intensely dark, harsh on opening, not a pnp, decant 1hr+, plenty of life left in it 89+, should improve with time in the bottle; has the fruit, acidity, and alcohol to precist and improve

well cellared, jammy red, but getting slightly raisiny, off btl, or getting too old, seems like lots of bottle variation, no harm in drinking up?
