Popped and poured. More dark fruit than red fruit and the fruit was more on the jammy/baked side as well. Decent amount of oak still present and a hint of sweetness on the finish. Very smooth drinking. Not much left in the tannin department and acidity is medium at best. Worked fine as an end of night sipping wine and could almost work with some desserts that aren't too sweet. Would drink up if holding any.

Opened but not decanted. Very tight initially but opened nicely after about an hour of airtime. Dark fruits with soft tannins and nice balance.

Wow! One of the best Ridge wines I’ve had. Dark plum, spice, and anise upon opening. Paired well with spaghetti and meat sauce.
