  Garnet color, lighter and almost transparent around the rim. Aromas of ripe and dried fruits such as cherries, blackberry, plum, strawberry. Nice oak and aging notes of tobacco, leather, vanilla, coffee. Acidity is still good, solid length. Great match with mutton fillet.

  This 2008 is surprisingly developed, brown and orange in color, on the nose delicious aging aromas, coffee, chocolate, prunes, dark ripe fruit, on the palate complex, leather and mushroom, long balsamic aftertaste of forest floor and licorice.   Bold and round! Amazing complexaty with tertiary notes og tobacco, leather, mushrooms and soil. Still prominant fruit of cherry, plum, cranberry and some blackberry. Soft dusty tannins with vanilla and oak, and good acidaty. Amazing wine, probably at the top now.

  Medium dark ruby with brick edges. Medium- intense nose of ripe red cherries, some dark cherries, red currant, cranberries, figs, some mushrooms, tobacco, slight leather.
  
  Palate similar. Well developed - probably near its zenith. Fresh acidity, distinct fruit - but going tertiary, rounded tannins. Very smooth.
  
  Apparently, this is a special edition of this wine.
  
  Paired with a home made lasagna packed with herbs. This Brunello loves Thyme and Oregano. Great match!
  
  Medium + body, medium+ acidity and medium- tannins.

  Samme som forrige flaske. Har drukket 4-5 flasker av denne vinen og opplever noe flaske-variasjon, men jevnt over en bra moden Brunello til en fornuftig pris. Denne flasken var ok, mens andre har vært bedre, så scorer 90-92 i min bok..
