I loved the Chardonnay, it aged well with a hint of oak, not as buttery as some that you age but still fresh after 9 years in the cellar, lovley smooth finish with good fruit flavours.

After some years in the wine fridge, this wine has come together well, with lots of citrus and stone fruit flavours, smoky, nutty oak, and considerable viscosity. The fruit and oak are balanced by good acidity adding freshness and length. It is a powerful, fruity chardonnay with well balanced oak and acidity.

Actually better on day 2 when all the fruit, acidity and oak had integrated well. I seem to say this all the time about wines I like - the balance is excellent at least on day 2. I think the thing that changed was the integration of the oak. Really nice, and will get better with a couple more years.

Powerful fruit with just a slight bitter edge to the oak. Tastes like gin gin but who knows. Big wine, nice. Moreish.

Got to confess this bottle felt a bit flat. Lacking freshness. Hopefully just the bottle.
