Smells of the earth and deep cherry. A hint of chocolate and ash. How do these combos happen? I need to learn more about wine!
The body is overwhelmingly beautiful. The flavor places me at the beginning of a earthy soil wave, reminding me of childhood. I loved playing outdoors as a child, even in the winter. The wave continues in a smooth fashion. Good feelings all around. Hints of cinnamon, plum, and currant creep in. The cherry fades. The taste fills the mouth and chest. I feel so warm and lovely.
Jay’s Cabernet’s are remarkable. Truly one of Washington’s gems.

Elegant nose, some dark cherry. Opening taste is luscious, blackberry and saddle/earth but without any of the lingering tobacco bitterness that so often comes with WA wine. Lingers for a long and rewarding finish going pretty linearly from the mid flavor straight through to the end.

Soft, balanced structure. Boisenberry jam on the nose. Big cab with a long finish. Drinking perfectly now. Dont hold much longer.
