There's a hint of turpentine to the complex fruit. Goes down a bit too easy for such a young Sauternes. More refreshing than some others. Very good, had to order.

Lively, fresh, floral and spice notes add to all that ripe, sweet, juicy, yellow fruit, vanilla bean and honey. Energy, and length with that balance of sweet and acidity is right here. The wine was made from a blend of 93% Semillon, 6% Sauvignon Blanc, 1% Muscadelle.

UGC Bordeaux 2014 Vintage (Rittenhouse Hotel, Philadelphia): tasted at large walkaround tasting. this was the first sauternes I had, though I took a break immediately prior to mitigate the palate shock. apricot, honey, some tropical notes here. med(+) finish is nice.

Had with strawberries before and after TPC dinner with Jessie. Read passages from BR. It's heaven with strawberries. Light, a touch thin, still young.
