  What I wrote in September 2018, only a bit better yet. Rather astonished you can get this quality at this price point and how it keeps improving. Have one bottle left, will wait until 2022 at least as I am curious to see what is still left in this wine.

  Difficile per me recensire questa bottiglia.
  Aperta 2 giorni fa mi ha colpito in negativo la presenza così accentuata di idrocarburi con un forte sentore al palato di gomma bruciata. Di solito non mi dispiace, anzi; ma con questa intensità era al limite del fastidioso. Richiusa la bottiglia con il suo tappo a vite la rimetto in frigorifero e lì rimane per 2 giorni a metà del livello.
  Riaperta ieri sera, tutto si era ammorbidito, l'acidità gradevole era venuta fuori e tutti i sentori tipici di questo riesling sono ritornati ad un livello di ottima piacevolezza.
  
  Ho la sensazione che sia un vino da aspettare. Ma non ne sono certo. Butto il cuore oltre l'ostacolo e mi azzardo a dire che tra 3-5 anni potrebbe cominciare a essere grande.

  Über zwei Tage getrunken. Mineralität, gar Salz immer sehr präsent. Dazu erstaunlich starke Säure, aber immer eingebunden. Am ersten Tag etwas verschlossen, am zweiten dann eher Riesling-typisch mit etwas Aloe Vera, dazu Honigmelone und etwas Grapefruit. Rauch hier nicht so sehr wie in der Probe, dafür schönes Mundgefühl. Bei aller angedeuteten Komplexität noch sehr klar mit angenehmen Reifenoten. Die Frische fehlt vielleicht etwa, hab aber auch keinen Vergleich zu jüngeren Jahrgängen.
  
  Bin unentschlossen zwischen 3.5 und 4 (von 5) und lasse einfach etwas Platz für die höheren Klassen.

  A winner. Significantly improved over previous/first bottle (October 2015). Hint of rubber on the nose, together with yellow apples and something almost like a flowerbed. Taste is fresh, crisp, nice fruit, again apples at the front. Fresh acidity, but very well balanced against the fruit. Great value. Still a couple of bottles in the cellar, will be very interesting to see how they develop.
