P: Med, poss LM, body; Almost swtish frt/oak with mitigating acidity; Excellently balanced, SEAMLESS, & VERY long, it's easy to see the reviews! Drink this gem now & through the end of the decade, resting assured that you're not LIKELY to find a MORE quintessential Chianti! 13.5% ABV 94 pts WA, 91 ea WE & Sucking, and 90 WS [FYI, this vendor's $29.99 is EXTREMELY competitive!]

I have a 70 year old rose vine in my yard - it's named 'Oklahoma'. It produces a deep purple flower, and offers a rich, sweet perfume. This wine is exactly like that rose. I opened the bottle, poured a glass, and the scent just knocked me out. Pronounced floral tones, with mineral and dust. The flavor is the same - I imagined chewing on a petal. So good, and so different than anything I've ever drunk to this point. Eye opening. Just great. More please. ** Day 2 earth and mushrooms coming through...

Deep, dark reddish garnet in color, bordering on opaque. Full, forward, & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, herbs, spices, minerals, cocoa & hints of vanilla & oak in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of sour red cherries, blueberries & raspberries with cocoa, herbs, spices, earthy, minerals & a touch of vanilla & toasted oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting and extended airing but will benefit and continue its development with additional aging.

Mature & integrated. Tabacco, leather and plum with soft, supple tannin. This bottle is excellent. Beautiful stuff.
