Still on the peak plateau and might stay there for 2-3 years. Acidity is well integrated, but keeps the whole structure intact. Berries and some moss. Very nice Chianti.

Very elegant and fully integrated. Slo ox 10 hrs. Background very light oak, berries and fruits. Nothing is in your face here. Very nice food wine with a few years left at this plateau imo.

From memory, confirmed by a TN, this bottle was much riper than one opened 3 years ago. Medium/full bodied with rich red fruit, velvety texture, fine earthy minerals, hints of leather and English fruit cake, fresh acidity and resolved ripe tannins supporting the quite long finish, it made a harmonious and highly distinguished drink. At its peak, I think. Excellent.

Initially seeming quite acidic but it came into better balance after a mouthful of tournedos steak and revealed more subtleties as the bottle progressed. Still quite pristine red. Well developed nose of savoury character with red fruit, more red currant and plum than cherry, and hints of leather. Medium/full bodied palate with good depth of fruit, grainy minerals, nice matt texture, a little secondary development, lively tangy acidity and still a little tannic grip on the finish. Very good.

Better not slo ox. 1 hr decant is more than enough. Will go for 4-5 years.
