  Drinking so well at 19🍷 Rancia is a wine with a very long drinking window even in a warm vintage like 2003. Even better on second night.

  Cool-toned fruit on the nose, primarily red fruits on the palate with good acidity for the vintage. Very nice.

  This is richer, rounder and sweeter fruited, I think, than most vintages of Rancia and rather less tangy, earthy and leathery. Very good though.

  Simply delicious. On the darker side for Chianti, as is typical for this wine. In a great spot right now, but I don't sense any reason to hurry.
