CK 5/21/19. First of these I've had and I liked it quite a bit. Pinot-like in its palate impression; light but flavorful, good acidity. A little floral first impression. Some spiciness. Intriguing and subtle at the same time.

Wow, what a fantastic wine. Über-classy, and classic northern European red. The flavor profile is like a southern Rhône red, but there is no heft or high alcohol (at 12% abv), and it looks more like a Pinot Noir. The fruit is quite taut and tart, and there is significant tannin. It is a real food wine, and paired admirably with two totally different meals. Really superb and stunning for under $30. I believe red Burgundy lovers would enjoy this.

Not much different from 5/2019. This really is a fascinating wine. Will definitely buy more if I see it.

Lovely light bodied spicy Pinot - paired well with meatier fish, sardines and creamy pasta, could age longer. Still tight.
