Interesting nose of vanilla and tropical flowers. On the palate, pear, yellow apple, lemon citrus, and a modest oaky note. At the closeout price of $55 this was a good value, but at $100+ it would be below average. This wasn't oxidized, so it could have aged for several more years at least, although it's hard to set an end date for these wines now.

First blanc from Domaine does Lambrey. This was expressive, a bit ripe, and bright. A beautiful and complex nose with tropical fruit, marshmallow, and white flowers; on the palate, there was stonefruit and citrus notes. This was racy, minerally, with high acidity, and very long. Very good Puligny.

Clos de Lambrays Vertical 1989-2015; 1/1/2017-9/22/2019: During a Clos de Lambrays tasting dinner with the wine maker. From Magnum. This wine sees 15% new oak. Fine nose of minerals, some herbal adn smokey notes as well, vanilla. Fresh on the palate, enough volume but a bit acidic on the finish. Medium length.

A baby, but giving great pleasure in its youth. Incredibly purity with a certain roundness (not at all to suggest fat or flabby) I associate with Folatieres. Lingering finish.

Pineapple and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, green apple, lemon citrus, pear, and notes of cinnamon and peach on the medium to long finish.
