Red berry fruit with savory earthy hints, giving a slight impression of rusticity. Some substance in the mouth, with good acidity and grippy tannins, but the body is medium and the mid-palate quite fast. It could be good as an aperitif if served with some salami.

An unusual red blend of Carignan, Valdiguie and Petit Syrah. Tyre rubber and the undergrowth of south west France on the nose. Thenflavours are red berry dominant with strawberry coming to the fore with spice in the finish. Very gluggable, good on its own lightly chilled, great purity to this wine.

A somewhat rustic, interesting blend of 75% Carignan, 14% Validguie' and 11% Syrah. A pleasant food wine that will benefit from another year or two of bottle aging.

This is pretty special stuff. Think they picked at a relatively low brix in order to showcase the terroir rather than the fruit, and we applaud the effort. There is just a commendable, lively freshness. The color is ridiculously dark. The blend is unusual to say the least with 75% Carrignan, 14% Valdigue, and 11% Syrah. What the heck? We taste most of the typical dark fruits. Mild tannins. Some oak asserts itself towards the finish. Relishes a bit of swirling and time in the glass.

Fresh, juicy, tart red cherries and flowers, good red for spicy/zesty food; lost some nuance on second night
