My first Broc Love Red, and this is a wonderfully fresh and refreshing light red, very aromatic, but with enough substance and acid to be very nice with food, with a long, bittersweet finish and only 12.5% ABV. The dominant Carignan is distinctive and may not appeal to everyone. It reminds me much more of a South African Pinotage than of a Provençal red. It's a bit expensive if purchased directly from the winery @$25, but it is available for less elsewhere.

I love the aromas of this, lots of red fruit; cherry, strawberry, cranberry and smoke. Juicy wine with medium plus acidity to go with red fruit along with pepper. Would be a good picnic wine, now how about the blend on this; 51% Carignan ,25% Syrah , 12% Valdiguié ,5% Mourvèdre 3% Zinfandel , 2% Petite Sirah, 2% Grenache Noir. Very interesting stuff

Very Good++ From 355ml can. I called Carignan immediately (not too difficult as this was not blind). Red berries, herb, underbrush, a touch of funk. Low tannins. So nice.
