  • Amazing nose on which mostly tertiary aromas come into focus - dried fruit (fig, plum), cigar box, tea leaves, baking spices (kim, paprika, pepper), wet soil, licorice. Hints of dark cherry, cooked plum and dark chocolate. Straight-forward Tuscany hit on the palate - high acidity, high fine-grained tannins and expressed alcohol. More freshness compared to the nose - notes of red fruit (cherry, cranberry, raspberry) with hints of baking spices and chocolate. Lasting aftertaste with a superb balance of all the elements. Beautiful and lively structure for a 9-year-old wine.
