Throwing a lot of sediment. As noted in a previous review: "Intense cassis fruit up front with leather and wood, touch of alcohol (14.7%) in the mid-range, and a good, moderately long finish." Should hold and improve for 10 years or more.

This is my second bottle of this wine, the first this year. Intense cassis fruit up front with leather and wood, touch of alcohol (14.7%) in the mid-range, and a good, moderately long finish. Double decanted about an hour before serving and served with grilled T-bone steak. This is a very good Sebastiani Cabernet that I had previously rated at 88 in 2017. The Wine Advocate initially gave it 92 points, which is probably about right when it evolves a bit more.

Fairly typical offering from Alexander Valley. Lots of red fruit, raspberry and cherry with a hint of pepper and spice. A little too much vanilla on the finish for me but a solid wine at a decent ($35) price point.

Pleasant, but not up to the expectations I had for Sebastiani, Alexander Valley.

The 2012 took 2 days to open. The 2013 should be good late 2020. The 2013 bottle in February 2021 is delicious.
