From split- purchased at winery- needs about 60 min in the glass to open up. A very nice, complete wine. This does not smack you in the face with butter. This is in or near its prime but will hold for several years. Good value.

Drank with beef Wellington / lobster tail dinner (along with 2008 Staglin Cab). Has darkened into a golden color. Oak is integrated and the citrus flavors come through. Acidity at just the right level. A very good complement to the dinner.

I would start thinking about consuming this wine. My opinion is no more than two years left to peak out. A very beautiful, smooth, flavorful wine with no after taste.

This wine has a color of yellow gold with aromas of lemon, stoniness and honeysuckle. The flavors that are tasted are a lemon-apricot flavor with slight flint and bark. The body is a light/medium but not so crisp. The wine has an exceptionally long finish with a medium acidity. This wine has about 1 - 1/2 years left in it. So drink now or within one year.

The wine looks light straw colored. The legs are medium. It tastes like melon, lime, stoniness and light toast all combined which makes for a "heavy" chardonnay. The body of this wine is medium lining to full. The wine has a very silky texture which makes for a smooth drink. The wine finishes long.
