Robert's Holiday Dinner at Margaux's Table (Margaux's Table, White Bear Lake, MN): Light gold plus color. Followed a glass over 45 minutes plus. I think we saw a wine that just feels like it has seen it's best days; not bad at all, just a bit tired. It feels lean, lacking some in fruit, mostly pear, with the oak still apparent.

Robert's Holiday Party (Margaux's): Nice wine but tastes like it is past its prime, i.e., drink up. Doesn't seem like bottle variation, but you never know for sure. Fruit has faded and was lacking in the wine. I would guess this bottle was peaking a coupe years ago. Still quite palatable now, but would be better with more fruit and more acidity (acidity was also lacking). 90 now (would guess 93-94 at peak). Recommend drinking now, if you still have some.

Robert's holiday get-together: Drank a small glass at a tasting. This could not compete with 2015 Leeuwin or 2018 Rivers-Marie Thieriot. Comparatively, the Staglin seemed a good quality but pedestrian wine.

Nice, but lack the depth and complexity of Aubert. Still, a very elegant wine.
