At the end of a long dinner with friends at our place. Dark golden color. Sweet but not cloying, only 9.5% alcohol, complex on the palate and fairly long finish. Nice!

Part of the nose was rocky and even gassy on the first day, but those aromas mostly blow off by second, leaving behind just the apricots and bit of ginger spice. Though initially a bit heavy and syrupy on the attack, delicious apricots and tangy peaches come to life on the more acidic midpalate and wash into the rising sweet-citric finish, under which there are hints of the rockies and ginger from the nose. Lively and flavorful, a sweet and tangy treat.

This is so succulent and sumptuous, and as good an ice wine as this is it's just as great a wine overall. The nose erupts with honeyed mangoes, apricots, peach cobbler, mandarin oranges, and a whiff of nasturtium. A lovely, sticky sweetness glides effortlessly through the mouth, harnessed by mouthwatering acidity, velvety viscosity, beautiful complexity, and layers of richness, textures, and flavors. Culminates with a note of cling peaches in syrup before shifting to river rocks on the long, broad, and juicy finish. Heavenly.

So much going on on the nose: peach, mango, honey, orange fruit, apricot, yellow rubber duck (acetone). Dried fruits and paraffin on a long finish
