Dinner at Aunty Liza's (Balmoral, Singapore): Quite, quite gorgeous. Must be served really cold though, it got rather flabby when too warm. But boy was this good when first poured into the glass. Orangey amber colour. Nose was bursting with sultanas, orange marmalade, apricot, figs, lychee cream and sweet red apples. Super rich, creamily textured palate showed mushrooms, tons of honey, musk melon, flowers and more lychees and red apples, all in a fantastically concentrated melange laced-through with fresh acidity. Colour aside, the bottle-age was apparent from the layers of complexity that played around in the mouth. Finish was a little shorter than expected, but this was, on the whole, a real "wow" wine. Great with the Ami du Chambertin cheese that we had after dessert.

Nose of apricot and creme brulee notes. Viscous mouthfeel on the palate with notes of honey, maple syrup and marmalade. Good acidity to balance the sweetness. My tasting notes don't really do this wine justice. It was really good.

Saved this to the perfect moment...This was like nectar from the Gods. Thick, sweet apricot flavour. Sooooo good. Color was golden brown - darkened with aging. LOVED it.

Loved this bottle. A tad short on the finish but drinking nicely!

Nose of honeysuckle. Very viscous with generous appricot and a hint of lemon honey. Finish was medium but oak was very apparent.
