I had a bottle of the 2017 the other day and thought that wasn't so spectacular, therefore I thought it was a good idea to drink this now, Oops! This wine is spectacular and in the middle of its window of opportunity. The nose is herbaceous, floral, and earthy, with a good amount of alcohol. the palate is rich and unctuous with deep black fruits like blackberry, black cheery, cassis, chocolate liqueur, and some decent acidity. I should have opened this for a more special occasion, but it's just me and a friend, LOL.

Drinking nicely, but would suggest decanting prior to serving. Definitely several more years of life

Sweet fruit with a medium to lighter body reflective of the year. This is well balanced and quite quaffable.

This particular bottle seemed to have a bit less body than I remember, but it was still very enjoyable.
