Definitely mature, with clear signs of bricking on the edge. The acidity and tannin was muted, the cherry was sour rather than tart. It drank well with Wagyu fillet but one suspected that it has seen better days, so drink soon.

Deep garnet Medium nose of dried sour cherry, balsamic, dried herbs, sun dried tomato, black olive, wet earth, Dry, high acidity, high dusty tannin, medium alcohol, medium (+) intensity, medium (+) body, medium (-) finish Good concentration of fruit balances the notable acidity, The clipped finish of this relatively concentrated wine showing moderate complexity makes this a good quality wine. This wine has such a short finish and therefore unlikely to improve on bottle ageing. Not suitable for ageing as ageing would cause a further decline in the wines finish

violets and black berries on nose. Delicate on the palate, plenty of fruit and dark berries, tannins are present but do not play the violin. nice acidity. A very well composed Chianti, that could keep 3 to 4 year more.

Sour cherry is a very dominant feature of this wine. Smooth with a good length of finish. Great with pasta.
