Rich and savory, with deep earth and red fruit. A solid performer, with the requisite Italian acid to pair with a couple of nice meals over two nights.

Bright red in color. Pretty nose of violets, cedar and wet stones. The mid palete and finish is dominated by fresh cherries, but there's added complexity and fresh fruit tartness that makes it go well with white pizza and by itself.

PnP. Berry aroma and flavor with little blow off after opening. Light tannin with a bit more acid leaving a mouthwatering initial impression. Soft, easy and goes well with a spaghetti and red sauce dinner with a green salad. A bit of bitterness with some herbal notes developing in the middle.

Quite fruity on the nose, with soft cherry notes. Soft on the palate too, with very mild simple fruit Fairly light in acid; I certainly usually enjoy more acid rich Barberas. Soft and light finish that again falls a bit flat without the acid to carry the fruit.
