A very well balanced syrah with both acidity and savoriness. While the palate is a little one dimensional flavorwise, it's still very enjoyable and is coupled with a great earthy, dark cherry nose.

I'm a big fan of Foxen, and have had good, great, and fantastic from them. This wine is merely good. Pleasant tasting, but disappointingly light-bodied. Drinks (and should be food paired) more like a Pinot.

Quite high 17 % viognier. Odd sort of chemical note on the nose I thought, but much better on the palate: resiny, balanced, not overripe.
