Really excellent and drinking nicer than I'd expect at this late stage. Still plenty of fruit in this bottle along with a depth and richness that made it extremely food friendly.

Drinking nicely at the moment! Definitely dusty and bloody, certainly a lot of nuance developed since its fruity youth. Good food wine, long taste, and could be mistaken for something very different than a Napa Cab Franc!

More tertiary notes since the last time I popped a bottle. Olives are much more dominant while the primary fruits have dropped out. I would have guessed a CdP if tasted blind. It almost has a garrigue characteristic to it.

Pnp through aerator and followed over a couple of hours. Lovely nose of raspberry and roses, medium weight, clean pure red/blue fruit flavor and excellent acidity. Reminded me more of Old World CF than California, but without the funk.
