Lychee nut, floral, minerality. Great with Asian food or other white meat (or veggie) spicy food...cuts right through it with a gentle butter knife. 89 is the top of Very Good in the CellarTracker rating scale, so there I am.

This is a super nice summer sipper. Beautiful floral nose. Even a sweetness above the glass, almost Riesling-like. Not a hint of sweetness on the palate. Creamy mid-palate, substantial acid to make it food friendly.

I've had plenty of malvasia before, but this is the first one I've come across from California. A very pale straw colour. Light bright nose with pear fruit, white flowers and a hint of smoked fish. Fascinating palate. There's a richness but it's also searingly dry. Quite powerful character, but also really rather elegant. It feels quite low in acidity, but there's a slightly sour green fruit note that almost compensates. A really interesting wine and from a most unexpected region.
