Can see the potential but this is way too young. Decanted two hours and drank over four hours, was still tight and oaky. Suggest waiting a few years or a much longer decant.

Like most of the wines that I have tried from Chris Tynan, this needed time. Opened at 1pm, decanted at 3pm and it was singing by 7pm! Dark colors of black, blue and red. Black and Blueberry, Plum. Rich and creamy mid-palate with licorice, chocolate and coffee notes. Finish is long and has the mineral notes that I love in wines. Lot's going on. The Abreu Vineyard sources are very interesting.

Wonderful depth. Notes of strawberry and licorice. Opened up over several hours. Just hitting its stride. Can't wait to see how this one evolves.

Double decant, then drank over three hours. Becoming much more approachable. No hurry, but with enough air this is pretty smooth and impressive now.
