Wild raspberries, cherry, leather, forest floor, morel. Most of what you can ask from a matured Gevrey-Chambertin. Precise fruit, fresh acidity and a very long finish. Delicious!

Intense aromatic nose, gevrey earth, spice, oak, violets. Taut on the palate, intense cherry fruit, oaky tannin. This has great energy for a villages and is just starting to drink.

From a mag. Unsure how much air this got but thinking it was PNP? Very Gevrey w/ earth, mineral, dark fruit & light underbrush. Perhaps due to the format, this strikes me as more youthfully primary than I expected. I'd love to taste this again at 15yrs out from vintage or anytime 2029 on... 91+ tonight. Thanks Chris & Jenna!!!

Looking youthful and dark - claret with a thin edge of yellow. Damp dog and raspberry. Touch of leafiness- tobacco or blackcurrant. High acid with some remaining tannin. Classic, old school Mortet oak. Ultimately, not that enjoyable. But I am not a big fan of either Mortet or ‘14. Leave for 5 years and pray?

Siggy's Annual BBQ (Chez Siggy & Jenny's Place, Mpls, MN): Small glass from Mag. Has this after a bevy of CdP's so maybe missed the nuances. .Earthy, spiced, dark red cherry, could use some time.
