nose: lightly oaky, light fruit; palette: full fruit quickly overlaid with light oak and a little pleasant explosion in the mouth to a mostly flinty light oak

As $4 red wine goes, this is really very acceptable. It is not going to overpower your palate with layers of complex fruit, but id does have the aromas and flavors expected from an Aussie Shiraz. The color is the expected purple. The fruit is a little weak, but basically correct. It does not finish as clean and solid as it entered, but it only cost 4 bucks.

Good cheap wine. Plum notes. Slightly thin with a slight dryness on the short finish.
