very oxidized but still showing that weird savennieres charm of mushy red apple and good acid. waxy on nose and palate. this got better with air and as it came to room temp.
tired bottle but weird and fun. drink up quick.

Thanks Richard for the treat!! Buttery aromas, goat cheese nose. Goat cheese earthiness to the palate, brown sugar aromas, red apple fruit on the palate. Quite enjoyable to drink. While the goat's cheese might be off for some, I'm all in on that one. XO d'Epirė!!

Medium+ gold. Rich, intense, waxy. Quite schisty underneath the ripe fruit, with integrated acidity. The vintage deprived the wine of its usual austerity. Expressive and thought-provoking.

Crazy, oxidative nose. Overripe red apples, lots of them. A nuttiness. Has almost Bourbon-like vapors and heat on the nose. Nutty, smooth and so fascinating on the palate. Get the overripe red apple. A certain waxiness. Has a finish that is spicy, and reminiscent of Bourbon. Am glad I tried this, and can't wait to see where it goes in a couple more years.

low acidity and slightly too oxidized, alcohol is out of balance too
