Wine Wizards Monthly Tasting: Light straw color, nutty, yeasty nose, with hint of citrus. More vague citrus in the mouthing adequate acid, followed by a bit of cloying tannin that lingers into the finish. This tannin might resolve in a bit of time but I passing on this wine for now.

With this offering, Kermit Lynch has again delivered an excellent wine at an equally excellent price. From vines averaging 50-65 years in age, it was fermented in stainless steel and aged 10 months on its lees (likewise in stainless steel). Light yellow and beautifully fragrant, it serves up green apple, pear, wet stone and spice aromas. Similar flavors characterize the palate. Light-bodied and with well-integrated alcohol (13%), it stays solid in the middle, and concludes with a crisp, medium-length finish. This delightful Chardonnay will be at its best over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2019.

Pale yellow color. Full open floral nose. Apricot & Lemon zest flavor profile w/soft acid. Not much finish.
