Drank bottle # 0223 Medium sized bubbles, simple green apple, lemon fruit. This comes off very steely. The finish is tart and green with a hint of peach. Medium body, moderate alc. Drink now - Great lable on this guy but its just a bit to simplistic for me. Very good Quality. 85 pts

A bit more buttery toast on entry than I want but after that initial richness the cava gets lean and mean with cutting acidity and vibrant green apple/lemon flavors. Good, not really good.

Drank with appetisers at Restaurant Cuvee, Hunter Valley. Deliciously dry Cava. Apple notes, nutty yeast and lots of acid. Great balance. Just lacking that bit of length and complexity to make it really stand out.

Winebow's Spanish Portfolio (Specialty Imports): Slightly yeasty up front. Nice green apple, crisp lemon and lime. Crisp and minerally palate with great acidity. Light, simple, refreshing just like Cava should be.

It is an Extra Brut "Cava", Delicate, fruity, fragrant, and prefectly balanced, it shows the three indigenous classic grape varieties at their harmonious best. Dry, soft and smooth on the palate, with a richness and finesse that come from the four years it has spent aging in bottle. This is a "Gran Reserva Cava" with perfect structure and balance, and great length and complexity. A very approachable wine. With its unique style and characteristics, this wine has marked a milestone in the acceptance of Brut Natural "Cava". It is still undoubtedly the leader in luxury "Cava".
