Nose explodes out of the glass here. Candied Lemon and Apple with hints of Honeysuckle. On the Palate, Medium body, Medium Complexity, High Acid. Candied Lemon, Honeyed Apple notes with some minerality dancing behind it all. Long Finish. Really Nice Chenin.

Monday Night Blinds (Home (Noe st)): (non-blind - my wine) Pale gold in the glass. Fresh moderate-intensity nose of crushed rocks, underripe white peach, ripe citrus pith, and slight yellow apples. Slightly reductive plasticky quality to it. Dry, medium bodied, moderate alcohol - 12.5%, screaming high acid (tartaric and malic) with a finish of peach pit, no bitterness. No signs of new oak.
I really like this style!
Laterals: - Savennieres (no ox, no botrytis, alcohol too low) - Chablis (no lees, no oak, aromatics are wrong

Nice nose, showing some ever-so-slightly oxidative notes, honeysuckle, sour apple, wool. On the palate, good acidity, but something funky and not exactly in a positive way; maybe a little bit of tongue-on-a-battery. Try again with a better food pairing.

Light gold color. Aromas of melon, wet stone, damp earth, tea leaves, spring flowers and pistachios. Racy fruit as it hits the palate, showing tangy red apple and melon notes, with just hints of the secondary notes shown on the nose. Fleshy with bright acidity, with a dry mouthwatering finish. Very nice.
