  Decanted off a small amount of tartaric sediment for about an hour before consumption. Medium red color with medium transparency. Nose of currant, strawberry, raspberry, and a bit of blackberry with some vanilla notes. Palate shows blackberry/currant at first with red fruits joining with time in the glass. Some dusty bass notes come in with more time in the glass. Nice showing and drinking where I like Brunello on the young side. Drink or hold.

  Well had this bottle earlier as anticipated. I had it in Zalto Burgundy glass and the wine is really well balanced. But as before i still think it lacks in complexity and depth....the price is not super high but still....

  Had at dinner with friends, so not super sharp notes -- notes of pine nuts, fresh, not dry, leather and dark red fruit. High, but well-integrated, tannins. Would like to revisit.
