Drank from a Zalto Burgundy Den'ark glass. Translucent purple color, you can see right through it.
Nose shows underbrush, faint wild berry, mint, eucalyptus, camp fire smoke, and wood.
In the mouth, texture is velvety and lush, but light to medium bodied.. Red berry, earth, dried herbs, faint saddle leather. Finish is dry with sour red fruit and earth, minerals. Still a bit of assertive tannin, reminiscent of a Barolo.
Quite nice overall, great with Thanksgiving Turkey. Will likely continue to improve for another 3-5 years or longer. Was surprised by its freshness.

Still a touch of stink, but a little air lets the fruit blossom, some very fine tannins still remain, this is showing a little age now and feels like it could improve more. Lovely wine

Drinking so well right now. Smooth, gentle and well-modulated but textured and thorough. Dark and sweet at its core with a secret drop of inner ganache.

Young and tight. An hour's decant +vinturi promotes a more powdery expansion that let's the bit of sweet fruit come out. Manly though bright without being fruity with stalks and a hint of barnyard. Long and intriguing but resistant.
