  • Popped and poured. Seemed musty to start with fully mature black berry aromas and flavors with slightly sweet spice. This then got fresher, more powerful and longer over the next 2 hours.

  • From mag. Nose of integrated red and black fruits. Palate includes background of oak upon which is placed cured meat , tanned leather, spices, pepper , and forest floor. Full and silky mouthfeel and medium finish. This is a great example of what new wold pinots can do.

  • Strong aromatic nose. Big and forward. This one reveals the strongest fruity cab character out of 6 pinot noir's we tasted. Good, rich, flavorful but lacks the great pinot elegance. • Pop and pour consumed over 2 hours on Xmas eve with Linguine & Clams , Mussels, Shrimp & garlic. Remains a large wine that still hasn't peaked, but this was sadly my last bottle. Didn't get enough so the notes aren't detailed, but this is about as good as pinot can be; great balance, structure and depth that more significant than most PNs, and a finish that goes for 25 seconds+. Really a special bottle, even taking the evening out of the picture.

  • Again with the crumbling cork. Decanted for ome bour at VP and paired with yummy salmon. Huge, thick and fruit-laden. Still fat and babylicious at age 8 with dark cherries, spice and vanilla.
