  Wonderful wine after 18 years. Nice up front fruit profile of raspberry, cranberry, and red plums. Mid-palate notes of spice, earth, cola, and cedar. Still has snappy acidity to it and good long finish. Great now.

  Still quite a few registered to cellars here yet not a really recent review. This pinot was my non-Cab WOTN in a 15 or so bottle lineup. Pours a red/violet color, slight translucency. Nose of wildflowers, cola, mint, raspberry and cranberry tart. Entry is more rounded than I thought. Acidity rather low showing a nice aged raspberry and almost a watermelon kind of middle that had a slight minty character towards the finish. Resolving cedar tannin. Showing some age but this wine still has a number of years ahead.

  Wow. Continues to drink very nicely. The cola cola has faded and evolved into a rich, dark, smokey, smooth, subtle, rich bottle of C-noir. Very nice. Nowhere near fading, after 13 years this still has a long life ahead. 92+

  We've consumed numerous DuMOLs over the years, and this was the first off bottle. I don't believe the wine could have gone this far downhill from our previous tasting note this quickly, so despite the absence of an obvious flaw, I nonetheless think something was off here.
