First hit on the nose is green pepper that yields to black fruit undertones, which ultimately dominate the mid palate. Black licorice on the finish that I wanted to linger a bit more. I was left with a slight bitterness but not unpleasant. Overall, a nice food friendly Cab Franc.

Still initially tight, opened up in an hour or so. Slight spice to dark fruit. Wonderful with chocolate!

For a CA CF, this has a lot of mineral/Stoney notes to the aromas.
